Are you interested in becoming a more confident diver, improving your air consumption, and minimizing the impact you have on the underwater environment? The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty course is designed to help you develop your buoyancy skills through fun exercises and games. At our Bali diving school, you will learn that perfect buoyancy affects every aspect of your dive and will enhance your enjoyment of scuba diving in Bali and worldwide!

Safety is our top priority while we strive to provide an inclusive and supportive scuba dive training environment for all our students. Our class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of four (4) students per Instructor.

What to Expect During the Perfect Buoyancy Course?

Your SSI Perfect Buoyancy course begins when you enroll and gain access to the digital learning materials, which you are required to complete prior to arriving at our Bali diving school. When you arrive at our dive centre for your Perfect Buoyancy course, we will finalize any administrative details and then the excitement of your in-water training begins! You will join your instructor and fellow students on two (2) dives at some of Bali’s best dive sites to practice various underwater exercises including:

Hover in various positions
Swim in various directions, including backwards and sideways
Demonstrate various kicking styles
Adjust buoyancy using breath control

After the dives, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to our dive centre with a newfound confidence and skill set! At Ocean Gravity Bali, we prioritize safety and certification is issued based on each student’s ability, comfort level, and knowledge. Your instructor will assess your progress throughout the course and will decide if you are eligible for certification. For more information, please read our Terms & Conditions.

What You Need to Know

While the SSI Perfect Buoyancy course is intended for all those wishing to expand their scuba diving knowledge in Bali, it is required that all participants:

Be at least 10 years old
Be certified as an SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
Complete the SSI Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire or submit a valid medical statement or Physician’s Approval to Dive form
