Enriched Air Nitrox
Extend Your Time at Depth
Are you interested in spending a longer time at depth while scuba diving in Bali without exceeding your no-decompression limits? The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course will train you to dive using a gas mix of up to 40% oxygen, which alters your time and depth limits. In lieu of maximizing your bottom time, diving with enriched air enables you to reduce your surface interval between dives or reduce the overall residual nitrogen load in your tissues. While nitrox comes with several potential benefits, there are also additional risks associated with diving with enriched air, so every diver must be properly trained before using enriched air. Safety is our top priority while we strive to provide an inclusive and supportive scuba dive training environment for all our students. Our class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of four (4) students per Instructor.

What to Expect During the Enriched Air Nitrox Course?
Your SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course begins when you enroll and gain access to the digital learning materials, which you are required to complete prior to arriving at our Bali diving school. When you arrive at our dive centre to complete your Enriched Air Nitrox course, we will finalize any administrative details and then your Instructor will lead the class through the practical application of analyzing the contents of a scuba cylinder.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course does not require any in-water training, so once you have completed the course you will be prepared to enjoy fun diving using enriched air! We recommend you book some dives along with the course so you can apply what you’ve learned while experiencing some of the best scuba diving in Bali. You may also combine the Enriched Air Nitrox course with another specialty program if you wish to improve your in-water skills at the same time! At Ocean Gravity Bali, we prioritize safety and certification is issued based on each student’s ability, comfort level, and knowledge.
